Trefoil cross icon, Mstjora, 17x13cm, Ivory colour.
This cross is a miniature, hand made in Mstjora, one of the Russian schools of iconography close to the ancient Russian capital VLadimir.
The support is made of Papier-mâché soaked in oil until a it forms a ground mixture, which is den put in a mould and hand-painted by master craftsmen.
After this, the cross is lacquered 7 times.
Delivered in an elegant box.
