The orthodox icon is on a 37x35 cm wooden panel. It comes from Northern Russia and was made in the second half of the 19th century.This orthodox icon depicts nine subjects, each of which enclosed in its own square. Going in order from the top left we find: Madonna 'Console my pain', with Mary placing a hand on her face and Child Jesus holding a scroll inviting us to judge with mercy, truth and justice, 'Pantocrator', the one who holds the universe, 'She who searches for the lost', half-length icon of the Madonna with the Infant Jesus standing on her knees, 'Saint Martyr', 'Burning Bush', miracle witnessed by Moses in the old testament linked to the Virgin Mary, 'Birth of Mary', 'Madonna of Yaroslavskaja', Marian icon of tenderness typology, 'St. Nicholas of Myra', defender of the Christian faith portrayed in bishop's robes wrapped in the omophorion decorated with crosses, 'Mother of God who softens evil hearts '.
