After some time John became a monk, went to live in a monastery and later gave the icon to the archbishop of Serbia.A prodigious event occurred during the invasion of the Turks in Serbia, the only solution was to place the icon on a donkey. And so the donkey arrived with the icon at the Hilendarsi monastery.
