The Corpus is in Romanesque style and it's a faithful reproduction of the original, kept in the National Bavarian Museum of Munich, dating back to 1120-1130.
Patinated finish of the statue: the completed sculpture is coated with a colourless wax.
Sculpture in maple wood, hand made by the Valgardena craftsmen following the local artistic tradition.
