Ceramic Christmas Star Ball and Candle 10 cm Hand-painted by Dellarte Ceramiche. This ceramic tree ball depicts a lively Christmas motif composed of two large red flowers, resembling poinsettias, flanked by white flowers, deep green holly leaves, red berries, and two lit candles at the center. The candles, symbols of light and spirituality, are elegantly rendered with golden details surrounding the entire decoration. The design is harmonious and balanced, evoking the warmth of classic and traditional Christmas atmospheres. The crafting of the tree ornament is 100% artisanal and Italian. It starts with liquid clay, known as slip, poured into plaster molds to obtain the spherical shape. After reaching the desired thickness, the first firing at 1000°C, called biscuit firing, prepares the surface for decoration. The design is entirely hand-painted using lead-free, environmentally friendly bright enamels. After decoration, the ball is immersed in a bath of crystals, a transparent glassy finish that enhances the colors and protects the surface. This is followed by a second firing at 920°C that definitively fixes the decorations. Adding to the ball's value is the 10% gold finish, which illuminates the details with a unique brilliance. This final touch requires an additional final firing at 720°C. The result is an exclusive decoration that combines tradition, color, and excellent craftsmanship, perfect for bringing warmth and beauty to the Christmas tree or as a gift. Made in Italy.
