Cross Russian icon, painted, 13x10cm

Cross-shaped Russian, painted.
This orthodox cross is a miniature, hand made in Mstera, one of the Russian schools of iconography close to the ancient Russian capital VLadimir.
The support is made of Papier-mâché soaked in oil until a it forms a ground mixture, which is den put in a mould and hand-painted by master craftsmen.
After this, the cross is lacquered 7 times.
The icon measures 13x10cm and it's a high quality piece of art.
Delivered in an elegant red box blue velvet sachet.
