Icons. Russian Icon: 'Menology of August', dating back to the beginning of XVIII cent. and coming from orthodox Russian school of Yaroslavl.
These icons called 'menologion' (yearly), are tables whose compositional graphic style derives from miniatures first collections portraying the life of saints.
The icon is divided in four registers, each of whom portraying different scenes from liturgical life.
